Located in the center of beautiful North Brookfield, Massachusetts, the First Congregational Church has been a spiritual light to the community for over 265 years.
Our sole purpose for existing as a Christian church is to honor and glorify our Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, in all that we do.
In our worship, in our nurturing, and in our outreach, our mission is to be a caring, sensitive, and encouraging body of believers. We are a family whose love for Christ and each other shines forth in participating in the many opportunities which are available from the cradle to eternity. †

Sermon by Pastor Joe Shea
Easter Sunday - April 1, 2018
"And on the Third Day..."
Our new pastor, Joe Shea, is a long-time friend to our church who we have supported through Campus Ambassadors. He has been a missionary to college students on the campuses of Worcester State University and Nichols College for close to 20 years.
In 2017, Joe was called to minister to the people of our church following the retirement of Pastor Dave Libby.
Pastor Joe continues to preach the Word of God, challenging us through his creative story-telling style teaching while continuing the faithful legacy of Pastor Dave.
Pastor Joe Shea lives in Spencer, MA with his wife, Annie. He has four sons, Jeremiah and his wife, Katie, Joey, David, and Sam.
He continues to work on campus in a supportive role to Campus Ambassadors and also teaches at Nichols College.
